Tis. This is what a tradeshow is all about. While setting up as many booths as possible into an area and having “buy,buy,buy!” as your main slogan may be a viable option, this year’s Project tradeshow model is perfection.
Engineered Garments SS 12 is slowly starting to show up in a few shops and unsurprisingly, it's looking great.
I spent the day yesterday in Vancouver's Old Faithful Shop with owners Walter & Savannah.
When winter really gets going and temperatures drop through a shivering -30C straight to a don't-stay-outside-more-than-five-minutes-or-you'll-die -40C, you don't leave your flannel sheets without a good undershirt on.
Recently I've been quite focused on acquiring another vest or two for layering this winter.
I had the pleasure of meeting Barrett Alley last summer at Gentlemen's Reserve, where he was making wallets and card holders during the weekend.
One of my favorite shops in Vancouver is Lark, over on Main Street, run by Dane & Veronkia Baspaly.
For part of this weekend I'll be over in Vancouver doing some work in preparation for Gentlemen's Reserve.
Brett Viberg is currently in Berlin at the Bread & Butter Tradeshow, showing not only Viberg Boots for F/W 12 but also a small capsule clothing collection he designed.
