Red Wing Oxblood 6" Moc Boot

"Another example of why Red Wing has been around for over 100 years."

Red Wing continues to bring out the heavy hitters for this fall/winter season. Calling on the 6" moc toe silhouette, they flip the script with an oiled Oxblood colored Featherstone leather. The hue of the leather can best be describe as being somewhere between coffee and a maroon color. A tone that rich, may cause people to consider this a more seasonal boot, but its versatility with your darker fall/winter colors is almost endless. The white contrast stitching helps break up the dark panels as well, without segmenting the shoe or creating an awkward appearance. Not to mention the wear over time will create a nice contrast of color in the leather.

Another variation from the norm, is the use of a solid brown, oil resistant, outsole over the normal Vibram Christy we're all used to. From experience, I will say that its not exactly meant for roaming too far off the beaten path, but you can always get them resoled if you'd like to put some more trail mileage on them. Still as comfortable as the Christy, but a tad heavier. Overall, you should expect the same durability, and solid construction of pervious iterations of the moc toe boot.
