Cristiano Berto, one half of the duo responsible for the Italian label 1ST PAT–RN, (first pattern) sent over some looks coming this Fall/Winter 2016. Launching Advanced Workwear, the men's and women's collection is once again crafted in Italy using a range of new, special materials and fabrics from Japan and Italy. The focus of the collection is around the Blazer, a quintessential menswear and wardrobe staple for everyone, and a redesigned military/utility style. Featuring piece dyed moleskin, indigo fabric made from an indigo warp and charcoal weft to match their special Herringbone di maglia shade for blending, to naval brass buttons and "reactive dyed denim" manufactured in Japan that offers the typical aging process but without the bleeding that usually occurs during the wearing in process. Both Cristiano and Silvia have produced another stellar collection, which I hope lands somewhere in North America very soon.
