Blue Jeans
Blue Jeans is a recent publication designed by one of our favorite Dutch designers, Joachim Baan, to celebrate an exhibition by the same name at the Dutch Centraal Museum. Spanning a number of themes within denim, the exhibition shows off the history of over 350 years of jeans, presenting contemporary and historical denim products. The publication consists of four essays covering similar themes: Design Jeans, America & Japan, Green Jeans and Dutch Jeans, as well as a Denim Dictionary and Denim Heads - a look at a number of denim aficionados. The book is available through Tenue de Nimes, as well as at the exhibition itself at the Centraal Museum.
