D.S. & Durga Burning Barbershop

D.S. & Durga is one of my favorite scent lines, I've been following their progress over the last few years closely. Their approach to creating the perfect cologne and perfume stems from the idea of making small batches with premium raw materials using old worl techniques and processes. Though I'm quite particular with colognes I'm drawn to this particular concoction. It also doesn't hurt that the branding, packaging and stories written about each of the scents is well thought out and executed. The 50ml bottle is available at D.S. & Durga for $96 USD.

"A fire broke out in the Curling Bros. barbershop in Westlake, N.Y. in 1891. All the shaving tonics with their spearmint, lime, vanilla & lavender burned. A charred bottle was found half-full. It smelled like this."
