In Shop: Defender Jacket by Taylor Supply Co.

The Defender Jacket from Taylor Supply Co. just made it's way into the shop yesterday. Christophe has worked his ass off to create a clothing line that pays homage to men's clothing from the 1930's to the 1950's. Part of this inspiration also comes from his vintage clothing collection which is filled with everything from industrial workwear clothing to military uniforms.

The rounded collar is lined with a soft corduroy and when turned up, can be secured by a chin strap with snap closure– to keep out the wind. This jacket fits fuller, in the sense that it is meant to have some layers underneath to keep you warm and dry. Though it is technically a winter jacket, it will also work well as a transitional piece into Spring. There are a ton of great details and it's well worth the investment.

Details:
• 8 oz. Water Repellent Waxed Cotton Shell
• 8 oz. Yarn-Dye Plaid Cotton Flannel Lining
• 2 Soft, Heavy Weight Cotton Corduroy Lined Chest Pockets
• Corduroy Lined Cuffs & Collar
• Raglan Sleeves
• Adjustable Cuffs
• Armpit Vents
• Two Lower Extra-Large, Gusseted Pockets with Storm Flaps
• One Interior, Snap Closure Chest Pocket
• Rear Game Pouch with Two Zip Closures on Sides
