Mark McNairy Pebble Grain Double Monks

I'll level with you; I never jumped on the Double Monk Strap Shoe phenomenon. There I said it. Though it's not because I lack appreciation for the aesthetic or even the interchangeability in one's wardrobe. Our friends at Run Of The Mill Shop produced their own unique take on a double monk strap shoe the last two seasons and though I've supported and helped plenty of Gentlemen find a pair that works for them, I haven't been able to track down a pair for myself.

Enter Stage Left: Mark McNairy crafted these Rich Brown Pebble Grain Double Monk Straps, which are placed atop a thick gum sole and now we're talking. Nick posted about these back in September, as he was trying to track down a pair for himself. In any event, these have a bit more of an everyday, robust appeal to them which has me in consideration mode. Plus, I'm a sucker for Pebble Grain leather, cap toes and gum soles. I would definitely wear these with dark green, navy or grey trousers at this time of year, though you could pair them nicely with chinos and denim if you prefer.

Details:
• Full Grain Leather Double Monkstraps
• Tonal top-stitch detail
• Cap Toe
• Leather Lining with Cushioned Insole

Still not on board, though these are the closest to something I'd wear.
