McNairy Oxford Fun Shirt

Ihave been a fan of this oxford fun shirt– rather, most oxford fun shirts for quite some time. The mismatched multi colour panels, whether they are stripes and patterns or different coloured oxford cloth, define the name of this shirt. This same idea has been translated into jackets as well, but mixed oxford cloth has to be my favorite interpretation. This shirt fits nice and trim, has a longer hem in the back and looks best when worn simply untucked with your favorite denim, shorts or trousers. When I get emails that ask how to wear a shirt like this my response is always the same: keep it simple and don't over do it. It might sound cliché but it's the truth. The way to create your own unique style and really make it your own is in the subtle details. It's created by how you wear this shirt, do you roll up the sleeves, do you pair it with your favorite well worn trousers, are you wearing sneakers or chukkas, do you add a pocket square in the shirt pocket or your back pocket- those elements combined create personal style. And if you're willing to give this shirt a shot, it's currently on sale over at The Classroom Shop in Houston.
