Toronto based Metsa Design is getting ready to release their Spring & Summer collection in the coming weeks. The design duo consists of Steve Tam and Markus Uran, who tend to perfectly blur the line between art and function with their slowly expanding line. In particular, I was drawn to these coasters which have been made from off cuts of their shirting fabric. To keep these coasters water resistant, they've been completely covered them in beeswax. Metsa also has a few interesting hand dyed shirting options, which have been dipped in a pomegranate bath for an interesting colour. Looking forward to their next release soon.
