Midori Brass Pen

Japanese brand Midori is well known for it's gorgeous Traveller's Notebooks, but a less explored branch of the company is their great writing utensils. Both the pens and the pencils are a class above, featuring well thought out industrial design and crafted from solid brass. The painted brass option is a desirable one for me as I enjoy the aging process by which parts of the paint may come off, exposing the brass below and creating a piece that is uniquely yours. The longer you use them the better they will become, which in the case of a relatively expensive pen or pencil is definitely a comfort. Both come with a couple refils, including both lead and erasers for the pencil.
