Outlier Nyco Chinos
I've been following Outlier for a while now, and I was excited to hear recently that they're going to be branching out to a lower price bracket with a made in America Nyco fabric. Outlier have always been extremely passionate about what they do, and it shows in the calibre of the gear they bring out. A 50/50 blend of nylon and cotton as developed inititally for the US military, the Nyco pant will stand up to pretty much anything you can throw at it. It's a slim cut pant with a dense weave to eliminate the bagginess that is a feature of a number of chinos on the market today. The sturdy fabric keeps the pants pretty well structured, but my one complaint is that without the four-way stretch of the typical Outlier pants you won't have the same freedom of movement for activities like cycling.
