Saturday Inspiration - Nicholas Haggard

Nicholas Haggard, one of many photographers currently inhabiting Los Angeles, is undoubtedly one of the real standouts in a crowded field. One needs to look no further than his commission list which includes gigs for Nike, Vancouver's own 01 magazine and Inventory magazine, The New Yorker, Japanese publication Huge and Converse to see that Haggard is a prized asset on the LA photography scene. His works have been shown worldwide since 2007, and it has been enjoyable to watch Haggard's repetoire grow over the years. He is a master of the portrait, with an uncanny ability to produce exceptional pictures from fairly banal backdrops by making the best possible uses of light and surroundings.
