Stephen Kenn – Inheritance Collection
I am a huge fan of creators using reclaimed and deadstock materials when crafting furniture, bags or even clothing. Stephen Kenn has created and based the Inheritance Collection around the use of WWII military surplus, from tents to bags and parachutes, to actually become the cushions for his furniture. This film does an exceptional job of telling the story of his journey, a little bit about his process and some of the reasons behind his passion. In particular, my favorite element is the clever use of the webbing straps he had made, to hold the cushions in place.
