Sunday Brunch Companions
Sundays are pretty much the perfect day for brunch with friends, and typically (read: hopefully) everyone's decided which house it will be at the previous week. I've mastered the art of making simple and rustic oat pancakes, and my choice toppings are either a simple fruit compote or real maple syrup. Thanks to our friends at Old Faithful Shop, you can pick up this tasty Canadian made, or tapped I should say, maple syrup which has been aged in charred oak barrels for the perfect bourbon flavour. Alongside your perfect stack of flapjacks, you need the perfect cup of coffee which is where this Chemex coffeemaker comes in handy. Another personal favorite of mine, it's ridiculously easy to brew and makes a smooth cup every time.
