The 990 Turns 30

Our good friend James at Secret Forts recently published a nice article celebrating the 30th birthday of the iconic New Balance M990 shoe. Alongside announcing that a reproduction of the shoe in the original, stripped down M990 style, James has a touching story to post with regards to his own personal memories of the M990. The story was even featured at one point in Martha Stewart's Whole Living magazine. The gist of the story is that in the early 80's, James was given a pair of his avid marathon running father's 990s that he couldn't fit into.
