The Art of Japanese Joinery
Joinery NYC is quickly becoming one of my favorite shops as their well edited mix of mens and womens clothing with items for home and life is very well done. And that's not an easy undertaking. One of these products– a book on the Art of Japanese Joinery, is quite interesting and definitely worth adding to the section on our bookshelf dedicated to design and architecture. Japanese Joinery is an advanced joinery process that also requires some specially made tools for each specific task and in most cases, requires no nails. I think I'll be picking this up when I pay the shop a visit in a few weeks.
