The Courlander Candle

The Courlander is a new creation from Los Angelese based start-up brand Arlo Jacob, scented with the nostalgic and surprisingly enjoyable scent of creator Jon Setzen's Granddad's home-blended tobacco. His Granddad worked for a time, blending his own tobacco, the result of which was this blend of tobacco: anise seed, brown sugar and dried plums. When created as a scented candle, this is a room filling, enjoyable and rustic scent that is a great first offering from Arlo Jacob. For those who happen to be green friendly, there's also the added bonus that the candle is made from 100% coconut candle wax, which happens to be petroleum-free, quite clean burning and environmentally sound. This is a new brand worth watching, as they promise us they'll be adding new candles only when they're completely ready to be introduced as a new, unique and meaningful fragrance.
