Winter Kit Nº1 – Christmas Dinner

Welcome to Winter 2011 Fam. For this inaugural winter kit it seemed appropriate to put together items that work for any dinners or gatherings that you may be attending this weekend. I included stationary from Terrapin Stationers in lieu of generic card shop options. This stationary offers the opportunity for a personal touch, to accompany your gift of spirits if you choose to go that route.

Because the colours in this kit are fairly subdued, I added the Buffalo Green and White Check Oxford to help liven it up. Of course, wearing fairisle socks will also do the trick. This week I talked about the Mark McNairy Pebble Grain Double Monks and how I would wear gladly wear them; this kit draws on them to participate in an ensemble. And let's not forget the perfect jacket from Engineered Garments to complete the combination. The slim fit, three button cuff, single rear vent and full cotton lining are enough to make me wish I'd been up on my Christmas list earlier.
