Winter Kit Nº7 – Out & About
Although it is only February the 3rd, it already feels like Spring here in Victoria. The weather has been pushing eagerly towards double digits so I can't say I'm complaining. Aside from working on a hat for the shop, I've been looking at some alternative options to hold me over. Baldwin made this perfect red wool broadcloth hat with a thin felted KC across the front, which was the inspiration for this kit.
Newly opened Tate + Yoko in Montreal made these Service Boots in collaboration with Viberg. They are incredible. Made from Horween's Icy Mocha Chromexcel, the brogue toe cap and vibram sole combination always win in my books. You'll notice I have light layers here, due to the mild climate, so throwing on this Sierra Designs 60/40 Tan Short Parka provides just the right protection in case the rain starts or wind picks up. Sometimes I really like the simple combination of everyday staples. What's your uniform?
